Steven Abbott is a partner specializing in the defense of general liability matters. He is also experienced in the practice areas of premises liability, products liability (ranging from firearm manufacturers to Segway People Movers), surety law and construction law, trade secrets, and toxic tort defense (including asbestos cases). In addition, Mr. Abbott has experience defending consumer litigation lawsuits involving allegations of violation of the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act as well as common law tort claims on behalf of creditors. Mr. Abbott has successfully defended numerous Home Owners Association defendants in cases ranging from premise liability, security guard cases, to construction related issues and contractual disputes. He has successfully argued multiple dispositive motions on behalf of my HOA clients that resulted in complete dismissals. In Washington State Steven Abbott’s practice generally focused on real estate law, corporate law, and family law including wills, trusts, & estates. In Nevada he primarily concentrates on construction and general liability law with experience representing clients in state and federal court. As a law clerk with the United States Air Force he played a significant role in a complex government procurement integrity violation case.

Mr. Abbott has extensive experience defending vehicular accidents in Nevada and Arizona.
