Mr. Ahrens is a graduate of the University of Central Florida (B.A. 2003) and Florida A&M University (J.D. 2007). He graduated with the inaugural class from Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences (A.S.N. 1993) and worked as a Registered Nurse in various hospital settings primarily critical care/intensive care and the emergency department.

Mr. Ahrens was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2007. He is also a member of the Federal Bar for Middle District of Florida. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Florida Defense Lawyers  Association. Mr. Ahrens practice is focused on healthcare law, specifically the defense of healthcare facilities and providers in professional malpractice cases and administrative actions.
