Jonathan Ballard joined Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP in 2014. Mr. Ballard focuses his practice on medical malpractice and hospital liability defense. Prior to joining the firm as a partner in the Seattle office, Mr. Ballard achieved great success in Southern Nevada as a member of the healthcare bar where he represented physicians and medical providers. He also has significant experience defending complex tort, contract, premise liability, employment and general liability claims.

Mr. Ballard is a graduate of University of Nevada Las Vegas, where he obtained a bachelors degree in History. After his undergraduate studies, Mr. Ballard earned his Juris Doctor from New England Law in 2004. During law school, Mr. Ballard completed an internship with a nonprofit immigration center in Boston, Massachusetts and a judicial externship with the Honorable Nancy Oesterle of the Las Vegas Township Justice Court. Mr. Ballard is licensed in Nevada and Massachusetts and maintains an active membership in several bar organizations.
