Julie L. Bell, a partner with the firm, is a trial attorney whose practice is concentrated on premises liability defense, motor vehicle litigation, landlord tenant litigation, medical malpractice defense, insurance defense, and criminal and traffic defense. Ms. Bell has extensive jury trial experience. She has practiced before the District and Superior State Courts in North Carolina and before the Federal Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of North Carolina. She has also practiced in the Cherokee Supreme Court. Ms. Bell formerly served as an Assistant District Attorney in Wake County, North Carolina.

A native of North Carolina, Ms. Bell received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Law.  She also received the Master of Divinity Degree from Shaw University.

Ms. Bell is a recipient of the 2010 Annual Business Leader Woman Extraordinaire Award. Ms. Bell was nominated for this award by her peers to honor her as a top business leader in the Triangle based on her exceptional leadership and involvement within her community as well as her influential leadership roles in professional organizations and associations related to her legal career.
