Christopher W. Brophy is a partner in the firm’s Denver office. Mr. Brophy has represented clients in all phases of commercial litigation, including successfully arguing motions for summary judgment, resolving disputes through mediation and arguing before the Colorado Court of Appeals. As part of his litigation practice, Mr. Brophy has engaged in extensive discovery practice, including pursuing aggressive discovery motions and overseeing teams of attorneys engaged in voluminous document review and production.
Mr. Brophy has also represented clients in real estate matters including quiet title actions, contract disputes and access disputes involving adverse possession and various types of easements. In addition to his trial practice, Mr. Brophy counsels clients regarding drafting and enforcing effective records retention policies and procedures and guides clients through the process of electronic discovery in the course of litigation.
