Helen Lee Greenberg is a partner in the San Francisco office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice. Additional practice areas include Products Liability, Commercial Litigation, Transportation, Hospitality and ADA Compliance & Defense.

Ms. Greenberg is an experienced litigator with a diverse civil litigation practice in the defense of insured and self-insured business entities. She regularly represents clients in negotiations, mediation, arbitration and/or litigation in state and federal court involving disputes related to, among other things, premises liability, products liability, commercial litigation, catastrophic injury cases, defense of Prop 65 actions, landlord tenant, hospitality, transportation, wrongful death, defense of ADA access claims, construction site accidents, business litigation and professional liability matters.

Ms. Greenberg's general liability practice involves the representation of retailers, hotels, commercial and residential property owners and managers in personal injury cases arising from accidents on their premises. She also handles industrial accident cases, which often involve complex machinery or operations, and understanding of OSHA regulations. She also has significant experience defending manufacturers of industrial machinery, household products and various component parts, in matters typically involving fires, explosions, and large property loss. She has represented architects, engineers and construction managers in professional liability matters. She has extensive experience handling all aspects of litigation in state and federal courts, including trial, post-trial and appellate practice, as well as alternative dispute resolution. She is a proponent and frequent user of mediation and informal settlement negotiations as a means to reduce clients’ litigation costs. She has mediated hundreds of cases prior to trial with successful results. She has worked closely with nationally renowned experts in fields such as accident investigation, accident reconstruction, and biomechanical engineering.

Ms. Greenberg is a skilled litigator who excels in both oral and written advocacy. She is proactice, decisive and direct in communicating with her clients and reccomending effective strategies towards reaching each of her client's unique set of goals. Ms. Greenberg has been selected for consecutive years as a Super Lawyer "Rising Star” and Top Women Attorneys in Northern California.

.Helen obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of California at Irvine. She then attended University of Maryland School of Law where she served on the Moot Court Board. Upon graduation, she was selected to the Order of the Barristers in acknowledgement of her superior oral advocacy and writing skills. During law school, she clerked for the United States Attorney’s Office in Las Vegas as a Certified Law Clerk.
