As a partner in the firm’s New York office, Mr. Long has extensive experience with: Professional Liability Defense (including attorneys, insurance agents and brokers, mortgage brokers, real estate agents, business brokers, escrow agents, accountants, and companies providing technological services); Insurance Coverage/Bad Faith Defense Business Litigation (including defense of directors and officers); Personal Injury Defense (including defense of nightclubs and their employees in cases alleging assault and battery, negligent security, etc.); FDCPA and other federal and state statutes relating to debt collection, consumer reports, etc.

Mr. Long has tried numerous cases to conclusion (all defense verdicts and/or non suits), and has successfully represented many clients at arbitration. He acts as coverage counsel in matters involving a variety of types of insurance policies. Mr. Long provides a full range of litigation activities, including taking and defending depositions, preparation of motions for summary judgment and other disposition motions, settlement conferences and mediations, all aspects of trial preparation. Mr. Long was named a 2013 Southern California Super Lawyer in the field of Professional Liability Defense.
