Matt Nelson is the managing partner of the Charleston, West Virginia office. Mr. Nelson focuses his practice on the defense of manufacturers and premises owners in asbestos, silica, toxic/mass tort and environmental claims. Mr. Nelson is experienced in guiding clients through initial claim evaluation, discovery and trial. Mr. Nelson routinely serves as liaison and lead counsel in mass tort claims filed throughout West Virginia. Mr. Nelson also has extensive experience representing oil and gas companies and coal companies in claims arising out of alleged workplace injuries and exposures.
