Sharon Peters is a partner in the Portland office of Lewis Brisbois. Her practice includes both healthcare and employment law, and the unique intersection between the two. Ms. Peters advises health care providers on personnel issues presented in the health care industry as well as regulatory compliance, privacy, peer review and medical staff proceedings, consent for treatment, involuntary commitment procedures, guardianship, and discharge concerns. Additionally, she represents employers regarding a wide range of employment law issues including disability accommodations, leaves of absence, discrimination and harassment, restrictive covenants, wage and hour, and terminations. In both settings, she is experienced in crisis management and fact investigations.

Ms. Peters is a frequent speaker who enjoys working with clients to develop best practices for claims avoidance. She was named to Rising Stars by Super Lawyers magazine from 2009 to 2016.
