Laura Ratcliffe is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate and Public Agency department. She represents public entities in real estate, environmental, and municipal law matters. She handles various aspects of real property acquisition and management, including contract drafting and negotiation, rights of way, licenses, and leases.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ratcliffe spent three years at the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA), a local government entity that manages over 69,000 acres of parks and open space in the Los Angeles area. As Staff Counsel, she managed various real estate issues including fee title acquisition, conservation and trail easements, leases, and license agreements. She also handled issues relating to the Ralph M. Brown Act, the California Public Records Act, and the MRCA’s administrative hearing process.
