Ms. Ryland is a member of the General Liability Practice Group. She has experience with all aspects of litigation including case evaluation, legal research, discovery, preparing dispositive motions, and trial preparation.

Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Ms. Ryland assisted in the defense of construction law, professional malpractice, toxic tort, and premise liability cases from initial case handling to settlement.

While in law school, Ms. Ryland was a member of the University of San Francisco Law Review. She also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Barry Goode and the Honorable Cheryl Mills of Contra Costa County Superior Court, where she drafted and edited opinions, prepared memoranda recommending rulings on motions before the court, and gained a practical understanding of the judicial decision-making process.

Before attending law school, Ms. Ryland worked as a paralegal in a New Orleans litigation firm in the maritime and workers’ compensation departments.
