Andrea Silk’s practice focuses on General Liability matters. Her practice areas include the defense of restaurants, bars, catering facilities, building owners and management companies in various matters including trip/slip and fall, premises cases and dram shop litigation in State Court. With respect to transportation defense, she represents various para-transit companies including ambulettes, ambulances and other emergency vehicles, school bus companies and commercial vehicles for hire. She also represents her clients in various provider lawsuits and subrogation claims.

An area of special interest is working directly with her clients to properly evaluate claims prior to the commencement of a lawsuit to ensure cost effective management by both the insurance carrier and the third party administrator.  She actively works with her clients to advise on issues including adequate loss and expense reserves, loss analysis, and ongoing resolution strategies to be implemented by defense counsel.  She advocates for proper claims management from the inception of the claim and speaks on the issue for her clients at their various offices.
