Benjamin J. Stone has handled a variety of complex civil matters since being admitted to the bar in 1996. He has represented companies, directors, and officers against claims by investors and creditors of fraud, mismanagement, self-dealing, waste, and breach of fiduciary duty.  He has defended broker-dealers and registered representatives in FINRA arbitrations and securities fraud litigation. In addition, Mr. Stone represented employers against federal and state law employment claims, and has handled matters in federal and state court and before the EEOC, the Department of Labor, the Washington State Human Rights Commission and the Seattle Office for Civil Rights. He defended professionals in the insurance and debt-collection industries. He handled claims against developers and commercial tenants for environmental cost recovery under CERCLA and state environmental laws.
