Kathleen Walker serves as Vice-Chair of the firm-wide Elder Law department. She has successfully represented the interests of skilled nursing facilities in claims of alleged elder abuse and wilful misconduct in all aspects of litigation. The majority of her practice is devoted to defending skilled nursing facilities throughout the state of California.

Ms. Walker also vigorously defends skilled nursing facilities in appealing Department of Health Services citations as well as challenges to that department’s ruling against her client’s facility.

Ms. Walker also presents seminars and in-services on the issue of elder abuse litigation to skilled nursing facilities, individual owner operators, management companies and insurance companies.
