Traci Whaley Patino has experience in the areas of general civil liability, insurance coverage and insurance defense. She handles the following types of matters:

GENERAL LIABILITY: Experience with premises liability, trucking accidents, sports and recreation liability, and toxic torts. She has experience defending matters involving issues of food chain liability, premise liability, security, hospitality, auto liability, race track and speedway liability, physical assault, sexual assault and other general liability cases involving major injury, wrongful death, paralysis, brain injury and large loss property claims.

CONSTRUCTION/INDUSTRIAL LITIGATION: Experience in representing developers, general contractors, design professionals and all manner of sub-contractors in both residential and commercial construction defect cases, including claims arising from job site accidents, defective walkway surfaces, stairs, ramps, markings, lighting and maintenance claims.

PRODUCTS LIABILITY: defense of product manufacturers, distributors and retailers in connection with major injury, wrongful death and burn claims involving automobiles, auto/truck tires and motor boats.

HOMEOWNER LAW: defense of homeowners associations and prosecution of Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions violations.

PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY: defense of architects, engineers, attorneys, escrow agents, insurance agents and brokers, real estate agents and brokers.

INSURANCE LAW: Experience with insurance coverage and the defense of extra contractual litigation brought against insurance carriers, including re-insurance issues, third party administrators liability, broker/agent liability and complex coverage litigation. Work with special investigation units handling suspicious claims, taking examinations under oath in this area and defense of litigation involving suspicious claims. Experience representing insureds in litigation involving homeowner claims, business and automotive policies.
