Jason Whalley is an associate in the Philadelphia office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Data Privacy and Network Security Practice. Jason assists his clients navigating all aspects of data security preparedness, event response, and regulatory investigation and inquiry. When a data security event occurs, he assists clients in determining the nature and scope of the incident, crucial points of fact and law, identifying potentially affected populations, and ensuring compliance with state, federal and international regulatory obligations. As a former Assistant District Attorney, Jason worked closely with law enforcement to investigate, and successfully litigate complex cases involving wiretap and electronic surveillance statutes. This experience guides him through data security event investigation and response.
