Yoko Yamamoto is a partner in the New York office of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP and serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Japan Practice Group. Her practice is primarily concentrated in the areas of insurance coverage and bad faith litigation.
Ms. Yamamoto regularly and successfully litigates cases related to insurance coverage involving general liability, personal and advertising injury, environmental, toxic tort, construction defects and professional liability. Ms. Yamamoto frequently authors insurance coverage opinions and policy analysis concerning the availability or scope of coverage, the enforcement of policy conditions and the interplay of multiple coverages.
Ms. Yamamoto is fluent in Japanese and assists the firm’s Japanese clients.
