Heidi Yoshioka is a trial attorney who focuses her practice in complex products liability, premises. and general liability litigation matters. Ms. Yoshioka has extensive experience representing national and international clients in the food product, vertical transportation, heavy machinery, highway transportation, and hospitality industries.     

Ms. Yoshioka works in collaboration with her clients to serve their business and strategic objectives. Her professional mission is to provide value-based legal services. To this end, Ms. Yoshioka’s case management practices are specifically tailored to meet her clients’ needs.

Ms. Yoshioka has successfully tried several multi-plaintiff automobile and vertical transportation cases involving catastrophic injuries. She has successfully tried premises liability cases, including one involving ADA issues, and an assault and battery case. She continues to negotiate the extrication of clients from complex and high exposure cases. Among her many accomplishments, she has obtained voluntary dismissals by plaintiffs in several cases after the filing of a motion for summary judgment in both products liability and general liability cases. She has obtained the granting of a motion for summary judgment on a trucking case in which plaintiff, diagnosed with temporary paraparesis and hospitalized for over three months, had demanded $20 million to settle the case. The case presented an issue of first impression in California regarding choice of law. Plaintiff appealed the granting of the motion for summary judgment and the Court of Appeal affirmed.
