GUIDELINES FOR COURSE ACCREDITATION

The instructions below pertain to all credit requests except the following: California CLE credit and New York CLE credit.

To accredit its courses, Lewis Brisbois utilizes the services of the CEU Institute, a nationally accredited provider for CE and CLE credits. CE credit is provided for adjusters and CLE credit for attorneys.

The CEU Institute requires that we have all applications submitted 45-60 days prior to the date of the course. Completion of all information on the application form is required to ensure that the program is scheduled successfully.

Once a course is approved, the materials (certificates, sign-in sheets and evaluation forms) will be sent to the recipient specified on the application form. This person will be responsible for distributing certificates and evaluation forms on the day of the course. They are also responsible for ensuring that all attendees sign in on the appropriate sign-in sheet. All sign-in sheets and evaluation forms must be returned to the CEU Institute within 10 days of the program. This is especially important as the CEU Institute is unable to accredit courses after this 10-day period!

*Please note that CE/CLE requirements vary from state to state. Many states do not have a reporting requirement for adjusters, thus, some credit cannot be provided.
